N-0008 Helmut Newton Helmut Newton

In this work " Shoe ", we can see that Newton moved away from the full-body portrait photography style and shifted to the pursuit of abstract images such as lines and forms. Newton's genius associative techniques and storytelling created with simple visual details are unparalleled. Newton once again sees the high heel as a symbol of power and menace. Although this is Newton's first attempt at this motif, Newton continued to take high-heeled X-rays and wear them himself in his famous self-portrait. The high heels used in the shoot are made by Walter Steiger, a long-established shoe store that collaborates with Big Maisons such as Nina Ricci, Kenzo, and Chloe.

Digital Gelatin Silver Prints- It will be a modern print work printed on a gelatin silver sheet by converting the film to digital. A gelatin silver print is a photograph printed on silver halide photographic paper. Generally called "silver halide photography", the latter half of the 20th century was an era when the quality of monochrome silver gelatin prints was at its peak. It is widely used as the final completed form of the photographic work, such as the artist's "portfolio", the "exhibition print" for the exhibition, the "preservation print" as an archive, and the "original print" for selling the work. This is a traditional printing method. The back of the work will have a proof stamp from International images LLC (Mr. Norman Solomon) who owns the work .

Original framing - A long-established framing established in 1969 that has been carefully selected from Japan - Fitting works one by one, keeping the picture and blank space in the best balance, drawing out the energy of the work to the maximum. A matte black wooden frame, surface acrylic, and acid-free paper are set to create a modern finish that exudes dignity. Being in space is a wonderful thing.
